Our faithfully recreated Classic ‘78 Cylon Centurion Helmet is derived directly from a production-used prop from the original television series. Built for both authenticity and functionality, this wearable replica combines screen-accurate aesthetics with modern technology.
Crafted from high-quality virgin ABS thermoplastic, each helmet features a brilliant vacuum-metallized chrome or gold* finish, complete with painted sail panels true to the original design.
The cast polyurethane faceplate supports our custom-installed, programmable LED eye array, which shines through a precision laser-cut diffusion lens. The array offers four selectable operating modes:

Intermittent Mode
Intermittent Fire Mode aka ‘RedEye’ Mode
Steady Mode Without Trail
Additional features include adjustable sweep speed control and an open visibility slot above the eye array to maintain forward line of sight while worn.

Materials have come a long way since the 70’s, especially in the field of composite plastics and electronics. We have taken advantage of the advancements in both of these areas in the development to create this stunning replica suit. Modern plastics: Our armoured components are fabricated from rigid and durable 080-090 gauge virgin ABS thermoplastics, and formed on industrial vacuum forming beds. Standard chrome and gold parts are then vacuum metallized and protective top coated to give them their mirror like finish. These highly reflective surfaces are subject to light imperfections, including those induced by the fabrication process, and will show fingerprints easily, which is why we include a microfibre cloth in our care kits (included in finished helmet and suit sets). We also include a section of Mylar adhesive (AKA the ‘Cylon Band-Aid’ for those who are rougher with their pieces. Our bright Light Emitting Diode (LED) array features a custom micro controller circuit board that drives a tightly packed array of super bright LEDs with high efficiency, producing nearly no heat. Sweep speed control can be adjusted by an accessible potentiometer by way of a small screwdriver, and the program button and array display readout of settings allow you to access 4 program modes. Field reports of our long standing dependable array have indicated 25+ hours of continuous operation on a single 9V battery, and we have Cylons who have been in operation since 1997 that are still operating perfectly. Couple your helmet or full Cylon with our motion detect system to enable it be be plugged into the wall, and it will come to life when motion or light is detected.
